South Texas Pool Tile Cleaning has served San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country since 2014, helping homeowners restore pools that have simply been through a lot of Texas summers.
The name is where we started, but it's not where most of our work is anymore.
South Texas Pool Tile Cleaning began by solving one specific, stubborn problem: hard-water calcium buildup on waterline tile, which is a fact of life in a region with South Texas's mineral-rich water. Homeowners kept asking us the same follow-up question once their tile was clean again — what about the rough plaster, the outdated finish, the aging equipment? Over time, tile cleaning became the entry point to a much broader business built around fully restoring existing pools: renovations, replastering, leak detection, tile repair and the equipment behind it all.
Today, most of our work has nothing to do with a simple tile cleaning. It's homeowners bringing a pool back to life after years of wear, or catching up on maintenance that got away from them, or planning a full renovation around new tile, finishes and features.
Wayne founded South Texas Pool Tile Cleaning in 2014, built on a simple mission: saving lives one pool at a time, in Jesus' name.
What started as Wayne cleaning waterline tile by hand grew, one honest job and one referral at a time, into a full-service renovation and restoration company — and its sister company, South Texas Custom Pools. He's led both ever since with the same hands-on approach he started with.
Wayne takes Colossians 3:23 seriously: whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for man. For our team, that means doing good work, offering kind service, and doing it all in the name of Jesus.

Outside of work, Wayne is happily married to his wife, Amber, and the two of them are raising three daughters together. Family is a big part of why he built this company the way he did.
